Featured in every BMW Mini manufactured between 2011 and 2015, this engine is the perfect partner to that go-kart like chassis, especially on the R56 model (shown here). The N18 is not the most powerful, or the most reliable (*ahem" speaking from experience *ahem*), but it's the most likely to put a smile on your face as you go into a corner WAY too quickly, and somehow come out the other side alive (and needing some new trousers).
